CASH FOR CLOBBER BAGS were collected on 21stOctober.  You helped raise €512 for school funds so a big, big THANK YOU to all the parents and friends of the school who donated so generously. We appreciate the great response to this collection.

·         Fatima NS Parents Association - due to the Covid -19 Pandemic, we were unable to hold our annual AGM. The current members of the P.A have kindly agreed to stay on.

The committee members are Keith Dimmock – Chairperson, Emer Clancy- Secretary, Denis Doonan -Treasurer, Olivia Tiernan and Sandra Canning. We would like to invite all new and established parents to get involved with them. The Parents Association has being a great support to the school over the last number of years and do a lot of invaluable work behind the scenes to organise events for our pupils.

If you would like to join the Parents Association or would like more information on their role in the school please ask any of the members:

·         Parent /Teacher meetings will be held in early spring this year due to current Covid -19 restrictions. If you have any concerns about your child and wish to speak with his/her class teacher then please call the school to make an appointment. We will be happy to accommodate you.

·         Christmas Annuals – If you are interested in receiving these please let us know by Thursday 26th November as this is the last day to order them.

·         Music Generation – music lessons have begun with Niko and are proving to be a big success with the pupils.

Celebrating Christmas and singing carols is such an important part of our school tradition but unfortunately this year’s Christmas Carol Service will not take place as usual.

In an effort to get into the Christmas spirit and make the school as festive as possible the pupils will perform in their class groups and we will post a short video of the children performing Christmas songs.

·         Fundraising Raffle - This year our Parents Association will hold a Christmas draw. They have been working hard to source some fantastic hampers which will be raffled on the Thursday 17th December.

If anyone has business contacts that may like to donate a prize for the raffle or if anyone would like to donate a prize themselves please contact the school or any member of the Parents Association Committee.

We will send raffle cards home with the children at the beginning of December. Your support is greatly appreciated.

·         Update contacts details- Please ensure we have up-to-date numbers for all.

A small number of book bills remain outstanding. We would like these to be paid as soon as possible please as we have to settle with our suppliers.
